Rewari Station to Get Digital Kiosks for Easy Navigation
Rewari and Alwar Junction will get touch-screen digital kiosks to help passengers find platforms and amenities easily.

Traveling through Rewari Railway Station or Alwar Junction is about to become much more convenient. Passengers will no longer have to wander aimlessly through the station premises to find their platforms, ticket counters, or waiting halls.
The railway administration has officially approved the installation of digital touch-screen kiosks at the main entrance areas of both Rewari and Alwar Junctions. This initiative aims to make the journey smoother and more comfortable for all commuters.
Inspired by the Nagpur Model
According to Bhupesh Yadav, Senior DCM of the Jaipur Division under the North Western Railway, the project is being developed based on the successful digital navigation model currently used at Nagpur station. The goal is to complete the installation and make the facilities available to passengers by the end of the current financial year.
Key Features of the Digital Kiosks
These kiosks will be placed in the main circulating areas near the station entrances. They will serve as digital guides, providing a comprehensive station map and real-time location assistance. Passengers can use the touch-screen interface to locate:
- Platforms and Foot Overbridges (FOBs)
- Ticket Counters and Enquiry Centers
- Waiting Halls and Rest Rooms
- Lifts and Escalators
- Food Stalls and Exit Gates
Smart QR Code Integration
To further enhance the experience, the digital guides will include a QR code feature. This allows passengers to simply scan a code with their smartphones to view station maps and facility information directly on their mobile devices. This is particularly helpful for first-time travelers who may be unfamiliar with the station layout.
By implementing this technology, the railway administration expects to save passengers' time and ensure a more organized flow of movement within the station premises.
