Rewari Train Cancellations: NWR Diverts 6 Trains for Bridge Work

North Western Railway (NWR) has announced significant changes to train services due to ongoing infrastructure development. To facilitate the construction of a Road Under Bridge (RUB) at Level Crossing Gate No. 124 in the Loharu–Parvezpur section, several trains have faced cancellations, diversions, and delays.
Major Train Cancellations and Partial Changes
The power-cum-traffic block, executed at Rewari Junction, Loharu, and Sadulpur Junction, has directly impacted several key routes. On October 14, 2026, full cancellations were applied to Train No. 54789 (Rewari–Bikaner) and Train No. 54790 (Bikaner–Rewari). While normal service for these trains resumed on October 15, they are scheduled to remain under impact through October 17, 2026.
Other services have been partially modified to accommodate the construction:
- Train No. 54803 (Sikar–Rewari): This service was partially cancelled and terminated at Loharu.
- Train No. 14824 (Rewari–Jodhpur): This train originated from Loharu instead of its usual starting point at Rewari.
Six Trains Diverted via Alternate Routes
To maintain traffic flow during the infrastructure work, NWR has diverted six specific trains through alternate routes. Passengers traveling on these routes should check for updated timings:
- Train No. 54310 (Hisar–Delhi)
- Train No. 54309 (Delhi–Hisar)
- Train No. 14714 (Delhi Sarai–Sikar)
- Train No. 22421 (Delhi Sarai–Jodhpur)
- Train No. 14709 (Hanumangarh–Jaipur)
- Train No. 19807 (Kota–Sirsa)
Additionally, some services experienced minor disruptions. Train No. 22472 (Delhi Sarai–Bikaner) departed approximately one hour behind schedule, while Train No. 54703 (Bathinda–Jaipur) was regulated for 30 minutes during its journey.
The ₹207 Crore Infrastructure Upgrade
This construction work is a vital component of a massive ₹207.29 crore integrated overbridge project. Approved by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and State Health Minister Arti Singh Rao, the project aims to replace three existing level crossings in the Rewari area with a modern system of overbridges and underbridges. This upgrade is designed to enhance regional connectivity and improve overall rail and road safety.
