This service aims to address the anticipated surge in passenger traffic during the summer months of 2026. The train will provide an essential link for travelers from North Bihar, passing through key hubs like Muzaffarpur and Patna.
Train Timings and Operational Dates
The special service will run for nearly three months to assist vacation travelers. Train number 01043 will leave Mumbai every Tuesday at 12:15 hrs between April 21 and July 14. The return service, train number 01044, will depart Samastipur every Thursday at 03:00 hrs from April 23 to July 16. Officials have allocated approximately 3,075 berths for this route to ensure more passengers can secure confirmed tickets.
