SECR Special Trains: Bilaspur-Champa Service for Navratri

To accommodate the massive festive rush, the South East Central Railway (SECR) has announced SECR special trains between Bilaspur and Champa for the upcoming Navratri, Durga Puja, and Dussehra celebrations. These unreserved services are designed to provide extra capacity for passengers traveling during this high-demand period.

Daily Festive Service: October 16 to October 20

The special train services are scheduled to operate daily from October 16 to October 20, 2026. This proactive measure follows a recent inspection of the Raigarh-Champa route conducted in the first week of October by SECR Bilaspur Zone General Manager, Tarun Prakash. During the visit, the Janjgir Chamber requested additional transport capacity to handle the significant volume of visitors expected at Naila station during the festivals.
