Commuters in Shahjahanpur are facing a major shift in their daily travel plans. The North Central Railway has officially shut down the railway crossing on the Tilhar-Nigohi road, situated near the Tilhar railway station, to clear the way for essential infrastructure work.
Overbridge Construction Hits Final Phase
The closure, which began on the morning of Friday, September 25, 2026, is aimed at completing the final stages of an unfinished overbridge. SDM Aditya Srivastava confirmed that the total shutdown is vital to speed up the construction process and ensure the project reaches completion without further delay.
