The North Western Railway has announced the operation of a special train service to facilitate travel for pilgrims attending the Ramdevra Mela. Here is all you need to know about the new service including timings and stoppages. The service between Shri Ganganagar and Pokaran will run from September 12 to September 26, 2026, completing 15 trips. Train numbered 04741-04742 is introduced to manage the heavy rush of passengers.

Train Timings and Schedule

Train 04741 is scheduled to depart from Shri Ganganagar at 10:15 AM and arrive at Pokaran at 7:50 PM. The return service, Train 04742, will depart from Pokaran at 8:45 PM and reach Shri Ganganagar at 7:50 AM the following day.

Route and Stoppages

The train will make a scheduled stop at Arjansar, with additional halts including Kesrisinghpur, Shri Karanpur, Gajsinghpur, Raisinghnagar, Jaitsar, Suratgarh, Rajiasar, Mahajan, Lunkaransar, Dhirera, Lalgarh, Kolayat, Phalodi, and Ramdevra stations.

Coach Composition and Additional Services

The train composition will feature 17 unreserved coaches, consisting of 15 general coaches and two guard coaches. This special service is part of a broader railway initiative to manage the surge of pilgrims visiting Ramdevra, which also includes multiple special train pairs originating from Bhagat ki Kothi and Jodhpur, such as the 04867/04868 and 04863/04864 services.
