These operations are scheduled to run from September 7, 2026, through November 30, 2026. Passengers traveling on these routes can look forward to better connectivity and smoother journeys during the rush period.

Train No. 02456, the New Delhi to Kanpur Central Superfast Special, will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. It is scheduled to depart New Delhi at 7:45 AM and arrive at Kanpur Central at 1:15 PM. The return service, Train No. 02455, will also run on these days, departing Kanpur Central at 3:00 PM and reaching New Delhi at 8:20 PM.

Additionally, Indian Railways will operate Train No. 02458 from Anand Vihar Terminal to Kanpur Central every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday between September 8 and November 29. Important Halts and Travel Advisory

All these festive special services will include scheduled halts at Aligarh and Etawah to facilitate local commuters. While these trains are officially slated to begin on September 7, passengers should note that certain services, including Train No. 02456, faced temporary cancellations through September 4 due to ongoing engineering and non-interlocking work within the Kanpur-Tundla section. Travelers are strictly advised to verify the live status of their train before heading to the station to avoid any inconvenience.
