Suratgarh-Anupgarh Rail Traffic Resumes After Track Blast
Railway traffic has resumed on the Suratgarh-Anupgarh section after a track explosion in Sri Ganganagar. Repairs are complete and safety clearance received.

The Suratgarh-Anupgarh rail traffic has finally returned to normal in the Sri Ganganagar district. This follows a period of significant disruption caused by a track explosion near the 50 GB area in the Ramsinghpur region.
Repairs Completed and Safety Clearance Issued
Railway operations were able to restart after technical teams completed essential repairs to the damaged tracks. Following the restoration work, the Railway Safety Department conducted an inspection and provided the necessary clearance to allow trains to move through the section once again.
Details of the Midnight Explosion
The explosion occurred on Tuesday night, shortly after a passenger train had successfully passed through the area. Due to the immediate security threats posed by the incident, several trains scheduled to run on this route were cancelled to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
Intensive Investigation Underway
Law enforcement agencies are working to identify those responsible for the sabotage. A formal case has been filed against unknown individuals at the Ramsinghpur police station. The investigation is being led by IPS Nitin Chaudhary, the CO City of Sri Ganganagar.
Several specialized units have been deployed to the scene to collect evidence and conduct forensic analysis, including:
- Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS)
- CID
- Bomb Disposal Squad
While multiple suspects have been detained and are currently undergoing interrogation, authorities have not yet identified the perpetrators or established the motive behind the blast.
