Indian Railways: 16 Express and MEMU trains cancelled on Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh routes

Indian Railways has announced the cancellation of 16 Express and MEMU trains from July 2 to November 18. Which trains are affected and for how long?
Several key trains will remain suspended on specific dates. The Hyderabad-Rक्सौल Express via Ranchi will be cancelled from July 2 to November 12, while the Rक्सौल-Hyderabad Express will be cancelled from July 5 to November 15. Additionally, the Howrah-Jharsuguda-Howrah MEMU service will be suspended on multiple dates between July and November 17.
Why are these trains being cancelled?
The cancellations are due to comprehensive line repair and infrastructure upgrades. Major work is happening in the Chakradharpur and Bilaspur divisions, as well as at Muri station. These projects include traffic and power blocks to improve long-term operational efficiency and reduce congestion. Many trains passing through Tatanagar will be affected between July 27 and November 12.
