Project Team and Route Planning

The project team, which assessed the proposed route spanning from the old traffic bridge to the turn of the new Ganga bridge, included several key officials. These comprised Arvind Kumar Sagar, Assistant Engineer of State Setu Nigam; Rahman Ghazal, Railway IOW; Mahesh Meena, PWI; Ankit Tiwari, JE PRD; and Anilesh Verma, Operating Traffic Inspector. According to Assistant Engineer Arvind Kumar Sagar, the current planning focuses on constructing the bridge such that it crosses directly over the Gangaghat Railway Crossing rather than terminating nearby.

Next Steps and Groundwork

This infrastructure initiative follows preparatory groundwork conducted in June, during which the Arun Soil Lab team collected essential soil samples at the site. Officials have confirmed that the action plan is currently being finalized in coordination with all relevant departments to accelerate the implementation of the ROB project and bring much-needed relief to daily travellers.
