While the main tarmac work on the bridge road is already complete, technical crews are currently working on the final touches. This includes the installation of view cutters and anti-glare boards to enhance safety for motorists.

Final Stages of Completion

According to a formal report from the Setu Nigam to the Unnao district administration, the structural construction of the bridge was completed by October 31. The project is now in its final phase, with the district administration overseeing the completion of all pending minor tasks.

While the physical construction is finished, the official decision regarding the exact date for the commencement of traffic rests with the district administration.

Major Connectivity and Traffic Relief

The opening of the Saraiya ROB is expected to bring immense relief to travelers by significantly improving connectivity between Kanpur, Unnao, and Lucknow. The bridge will serve as a vital link, reducing travel times and easing the burden on existing routes.

Additionally, the bridge will act as a critical alternative route, facilitating essential repair works on the Jajmau Ganga bridge by providing an extra capacity for vehicular movement.
