Special Trains for UPSSSC PET 2026 Exam
North Central and Northern Railway announce special unreserved trains for UPSSSC PET 2026 candidates to facilitate travel to exam centers.
To assist candidates appearing for the UPSSSC PET 2026 examinations, the North Central Railway and Northern Railway have announced the operation of several special unreserved trains. These services are specifically designed to help students travel to their examination centers efficiently during the busy festival season.
The Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test (UPSSSC PET) is scheduled to take place on October 25, October 30, and November 1, 2026. With examination shifts running from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the railway authorities have introduced these special services to manage the high passenger demand and ensure smooth transit for students.
Special Train Routes and Timings
According to Amit Kumar Singh, Public Relations Officer for the Prayagraj Rail Division, the following special services have been scheduled to facilitate candidate travel:
- Kanpur Central to Mathura Junction (Train 01823): This 12-coach unreserved special train will depart Kanpur at 8:00 PM on October 29 and October 31, 2026, arriving in Mathura at 3:10 AM the following morning.
- Ballia to Kanpur Central (Train 05153): This service departs Ballia at 7:30 PM on October 29 and October 31, reaching Kanpur at 6:00 AM.
- Kanpur Central to Ballia (Train 05154): For the return journey, this train departs Kanpur Central at 12:55 PM on October 30 and November 1, arriving in Ballia at 1:15 AM.
- Prayagraj Junction to Jhansi (Train 01821): This train will depart Prayagraj Junction at 7:45 PM on October 29 and 31, arriving at Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction at 5:15 AM.
- Prayagraj and Mainpuri Connection (Train 01825/26): Special services will run from Prayagraj on October 29 and 31, and from Mainpuri on October 30 and November 1.
