UPSSSC PET 2026: Special Trains & Help Desks for Candidates
Indian Railways and UP authorities deploy special trains and help desks to manage 35 lakh+ candidates for the UPSSSC PET 2026 exam.

To manage the massive influx of 35,41,297 candidates appearing for the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026, Indian Railways and local authorities have launched an extensive travel support plan. The examinations are scheduled to take place on October 25, October 30, and November 1, 2026, across 1,372 centers in 60 districts.
Special Train Services and Routes
To ensure smooth transit, several special train services have been introduced across different railway zones. In the Moradabad region, eight special trains have been arranged to handle the heavy rush. Specifically, train number 04324 will operate between Moradabad and Lucknow on the exam dates.
The North Central Railway (NCR) has also scheduled unreserved special trains to assist travelers on the following routes:
- Prayagraj Junction to Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi
- Kanpur Central to Mathura Junction
Additionally, Northern Railway and North Eastern Railway are facilitating travel to key cities including Gorakhpur, Ballia, Shahjahanpur, and Bijnor to accommodate candidates traveling from various parts of the state.
Station Management and Help Desks
Authorities have prioritized crowd management and candidate assistance at major railway hubs. Within the Moradabad GRP circle, seven help desks and seven dedicated holding areas have been established across six stations: Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly Junction, Bareilly City, Badaun, and Chandausi.
At Moradabad railway station, specific holding areas have been designated on platforms six and seven, as well as within the booking area. To assist candidates, a help desk has been strategically placed near a large fan area to provide immediate support.
Security and Safety Measures
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to prioritize candidate security and closely monitor social media to prevent the spread of misleading information. To maintain order, a heavy security presence has been deployed, including the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP), and local police, with a special focus on ensuring the safety of women candidates.
In Moradabad, District Magistrate Anunay Jha and SSP Satpal Antil have conducted inspections of transport hubs to oversee crowd control and ensure efficient departure processes for the millions of students.
Roadway Assistance and Monitoring
Complementing the railway efforts, the state Transport Department is deploying 150 additional roadways buses to assist candidates moving between test centers and transit hubs. These operations are being closely monitored via a dedicated 24-hour control room to ensure uninterrupted service throughout the examination period.
