Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti V Somanna conducted an official review of the Delhi Division Control Office on Wednesday September 9 2026. The visit focused heavily on assessing critical railway functions including safety protocols train operations punctuality and the status of public grievances. Accompanied by Delhi Divisional Railway Manager Pushpesh R Tripathi and his senior team the Minister held detailed discussions aimed at boosting infrastructure development and overall operational efficiency across the division.
During his visit
Minister V Somanna observed the real-time functioning of various control verticals including Engineering Coaching Goods Commercial Signal and Telecom Traction and Security Controls. He also took a guided tour of the division's state-of-the-art Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Centre and the dedicated War Room to understand how technological interventions are currently being utilized to manage day-to-day railway traffic seamlessly.
