To manage the heavy influx of passengers during the upcoming festive season, Western Railway has announced the extension of the Valsad-Danapur Special train services. This decision aims to provide much-needed relief to commuters traveling across the long-distance route to accommodate the increased demand.

Updated Schedules for Special Trains

The extension applies to both directions of the service, specifically Train No. 09025 and Train No. 09026. Below are the revised operational details for passengers planning their journeys.

Valsad to Danapur (Train No. 09025)

  • Departure Days: Every Monday until November 23, 2026.
  • Departure Time: 08:40 AM from Valsad.
  • Arrival Time: 12:00 PM at Danapur (the following day).
  • Total Journey Duration: Approximately 27 hours and 20 minutes.

Danapur to Valsad (Train No. 09026)

  • Departure Days: Every Tuesday until November 24, 2026.
  • Departure Time: 02:30 PM from Danapur.
  • Arrival Time: 09:30 PM at Valsad (the following day).
  • Total Journey Duration: 31 hours.

New Halts and Booking Information

To enhance passenger convenience, the railway has introduced new additional halts at Buxar and Ara stations. Including these new stops, the trains will make a total of 16 stops along their respective routes.
