Agra Rail Division to Operate 62 Festival Special Trains for Diwali and Chhath, Connecting Major Cities Across India

Agra rail division is all set for the Diwali and Chhath festivals. They are running 62 special trains to help people travel to their hometowns or popular destinations during this festive season.

The railway manager, Gagan Goyal, mentioned that these special trains will connect major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Surat, and Patna, among others. This is to ensure everyone has a smooth journey for the celebrations.


The special trains will operate from October 31 to November 28, with multiple routes and timings. For instance, one train will leave Agra Cantt for Jogbani at 5 AM on Fridays, and another will run from Baroda to Gorakhpur, stopping at Eidgah Station at 7:40 AM on Sundays.

Some trains will have daily services, like the one from Sabarmati to Begusarai, which stops at Eidgah Station at 5:50 PM starting October 28. Passengers can expect good arrangements at the stations to handle the extra crowd.


People are encouraged to check the schedule and book their tickets early to avoid last-minute hassles. With these extra services, traveling during the festivals will be easier for everyone.
