Indian Railways is upgrading the Vande Bharat Express trains between Bhopal and Delhi to improve passenger comfort.
Indian Railways is making some important changes to the Vande Bharat Express trains that run from Bhopal to Delhi and Jabalpur. They will replace the current seats with new Volvo-style seats to make travel more comfortable for passengers.
The new Volvo-style seats are designed to be wider, have thicker cushioning, and offer better back support. This decision comes after passengers complained about discomfort and back pain during their journeys.
The upgrade project is being managed by the Bhopal Railway Division and will start at the Rani Kamalapati coaching depot. A company from Gujarat has been given the contract to carry out this work. Some coaches are expected to have the new seats installed by the end of this year.
After the initial installation, the upgrades will be extended to other older Vande Bharat trains across the country. The Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, which manufactures these trains, will also be involved in future upgrades.
This change is set to improve travel comfort significantly for passengers. The new seating arrangement aims to address the issues raised by travelers and enhance their overall experience on these trains.
