Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express to Stop at Four Tamil Nadu Textile Hubs; New Ranchi-Coimbatore Train Approved

The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will soon stop at four textile hubs in Tamil Nadu, and a new daily train from Ranchi to Coimbatore has been approved.



The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express is set to make stops at four important textile cities in Tamil Nadu. These cities are Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, and Salem. This decision was announced by Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan during his visit to Coimbatore.

He mentioned that this move came after he requested the Railway Ministry to make these changes. The train will now benefit many workers in the textile industry, making their commutes easier.


Passengers can expect the train to start stopping at these locations soon. The Vice President confirmed that train services will be more accessible for workers in the textile sector, especially since it helps them travel to and from their jobs efficiently.

In addition to this, a new daily train service from Ranchi in Jharkhand to Coimbatore has also been approved. This will further facilitate travel for many migrant workers employed in Tamil Nadu’s textile industry.


With both of these new services, the local government aims to improve infrastructure and support development. The Vice President highlighted the importance of balancing agriculture and industry for regional growth.
