Recently, there was a protest by the Jharkhand Kudmi community at Parasnath railway station, which affected train services. As a result, the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express and the Jan Shatabdi Express were cancelled after reaching Gaya Junction.

This cancellation caused a lot of inconvenience to passengers. To help them, the commercial staff at Gaya Junction were on duty to assist. They offered free bottled water to passengers who were returning their tickets.


About 300 passengers who were supposed to travel on the Vande Bharat Express were also helped. They were provided seats in the AC coaches of the Jan Shatabdi Express to return to Patna. This was done to ensure they could continue their journey smoothly despite the cancellations.

The Jan Shatabdi Express also did not go to Ranchi but returned to Patna instead. The ticket staff worked quickly under the guidance of the chief ticket supervisor to manage the situation effectively.


Overall, passengers were calm and polite during this disruption, and the railway employees appreciated their understanding. The staff ensured that all passengers were taken care of and guided to their alternative trains.
