Indian Railways has announced a big plan to help everyone travelling for Chhath Puja this year. They are launching 12,000 special trains across the country to make sure passengers can travel comfortably during this busy time.

As the festive season approaches, the Railways is also preparing to add 8,000 more special trains to meet the growing demand. This step is especially important as many people travel to celebrate and worship during Chhath Puja.


For passengers, this means there will be plenty of trains available, especially for those heading to Bihar. The East Central Railway has already started running over 1,800 special trains just for this festival, and more arrangements are being made to ensure smooth travel.

To manage the crowd, the Railways is setting up queue arrangements and constructing waiting halls at stations to help passengers. This will make it easier for everyone to board their trains without hassle.


Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has confirmed that around 12 lakh railway employees are working around the clock to keep everything running smoothly. So far, nearly 1 crore passengers have already used the special trains during this festive season.
