What’s inside:

This article talks about the availability of train seats from New Delhi to Lucknow before Diwali.

Lucknow is seeing some important updates for train travelers. Starting from October 3, there are many seats available in trains like Shatabdi and Vande Bharat that run between New Delhi and Lucknow.

These available seats can be booked until just before Diwali. After that, there will be a rush for tickets, and it seems like getting a waiting ticket will be difficult.

Passengers should note that from October 16, there will be no seats available on these trains at all. So, if you are planning to travel, it’s wise to book your tickets as soon as possible.

For example, on October 3, the New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi Express has 318 seats free, while the Lucknow-New Delhi Shatabdi has 183 seats available. The Tejas Express and Vande Bharat have 165 and 774 seats open, respectively.

To avoid disappointment, travelers are advised to plan their trips early. Once Diwali approaches, the trains are expected to be fully booked with no waiting tickets available.

Summary:

  • Seats are available in trains from New Delhi to Lucknow starting October 3.

  • Availability lasts only until Diwali, after which seats will be hard to find.

  • Travelers should book tickets early to secure their seats.

  • Specific trains have a good number of seats free for now.

  • Post-October 16, no waiting tickets will be available.
