Prayagraj is getting a new Vande Bharat Express train that will run from Varanasi to Khajuraho. This new service is expected to start on November 7, when Prime Minister Modi will officially launch it.
The train will operate six days a week, running from Monday to Sunday, except for Wednesdays. This will be the first Vande Bharat Express that stops at Prayagraj Chivki station, making it a convenient option for local travelers.
The new train will leave Varanasi early in the morning at 5:25 AM. It will stop at various places like Vindhyachal and reach Prayagraj Chivki by 8 AM. After a short halt, it will continue to Khajuraho, reaching there around 1:10 PM.
On its return journey, the train will leave Khajuraho at 3:20 PM and arrive back at Prayagraj Chivki at 8:20 PM. This service will also connect with Varanasi, reaching there by 11 PM.
This will be the fifth Vande Bharat Express for Prayagraj, but the first one to stop at Chivki station. The other trains only stop at Prayagraj Junction, making this new service an important addition for the region.
