Good news for travelers! The much-awaited Ernakulam–Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express is all set to start on November 8. This train will greatly benefit people traveling between these two major cities in South India.
This new high-speed train will reduce the travel time by more than two hours. Passengers can now travel the distance in just 8 hours and 40 minutes, linking important areas in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the service via video link from Varanasi. The train will cover significant stops like Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, and Salem, making it easier for professionals, students, and tourists to travel.
The Vande Bharat Express train number 26651 will leave Bengaluru at 5:10 AM and arrive in Ernakulam at 1:50 PM. For the return journey, train number 26652 will depart Ernakulam at 2:20 PM and reach Bengaluru by 11 PM.
This launch is part of a larger effort to enhance the rail network in the region. The inauguration will be streamed live at various stations where many people are expected to join in the celebrations.
