The much-awaited Vande Bharat Express train service between Varanasi and Khajuraho has been announced by the railway ministry. The schedule was released on Friday night, and it includes trains from Lucknow to Saharanpur and from Firozpur to Delhi as well.

This special train service will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Manduadih station in Varanasi. It is a significant event as it marks the first time the Prime Minister will launch a Vande Bharat train in his own parliamentary area.


The Vande Bharat Express from Varanasi to Khajuraho is set to depart from Varanasi Cantt station at 5:25 AM. It will make stops at various stations, including Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Chheki, and Banda, before reaching Khajuraho at 1:10 PM.

The return train from Khajuraho to Varanasi will leave at 3:00 PM. It will halt at Mahoba, Banda, and other stations, arriving back at Varanasi Cantt station by 11:00 PM.


The inauguration ceremony will also include virtual launches of other Vande Bharat trains. Key railway officials, including the Railway Minister, will be present for this event, marking an important day for railway travel in the region.
