Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnav visited Varanasi railway station on Friday night to check the arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming program. He inspected various areas, including the second entry point and platform number eight, to ensure everything is ready.

The minister announced that the Prime Minister will flag off four Vande Bharat train services from Varanasi station. These new trains are designed to provide better travel facilities for passengers, enhancing their travel experience.


Among the new services, one train will connect Varanasi to Khajuraho, promoting travel between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Another long-awaited route is the Vande Bharat train from Lucknow to Saharanpur, which will finally meet the demands of many travelers.

So far, over 7.5 crore people have traveled on the Vande Bharat trains, showing their growing popularity. The Rail Minister mentioned that there is also a new version of these trains coming soon, promising even more improvements.


Before leaving, the minister urged officials, including the chairman of the railway board, to complete all preparations on time. The new trains will start operating soon, providing more options for passengers in the region.
