In response to the accident, railway officials stopped the Mangala Express for about an hour and rerouted the Kerala Express and Vande Bharat on another line. The family of the deceased accused the railway staff of negligence, claiming someone pushed him onto the tracks.

The victim, identified as Ajay, had been working as a trackman since 2016. He was on duty with his colleagues near the railway station when the train suddenly approached from Agra towards Delhi.

After the situation was managed, the body was removed, allowing the Mangala Express to depart at 12:14 PM, though it ran late by one hour and thirty-one minutes. Railway officials also promised a thorough investigation into the incident.
