During the inspection, he found some issues and warned the responsible officials about taking necessary actions. He closely examined every part of the station and instructed to complete the ongoing construction work on time.
He informed that construction is ongoing at 40 stations in the Lucknow division. Some works at Fafamau and Prayagraj junctions are already complete, while the remaining eight stations are expected to finish by March next year.
Verma also mentioned a recent accident that occurred during wall construction at the station. In response, safety measures have been tightened at all work sites, ensuring no work starts without supervisor approval.
Looking ahead, he expressed concern over the stone-pelting incidents on the Vande Bharat train and emphasized that such actions will not be tolerated. He assured strict legal actions against those responsible and mentioned ongoing campaigns in schools to raise awareness about train safety.
