Ambala is facing train delays because of bad weather. On Sunday morning, the weather was quite poor, affecting train schedules at the Ambala Cantt railway station.

Long-distance trains were particularly affected. For instance, the Amritsar-Chhapra special train was delayed by 5.5 hours, while others like the Amritsar-Jayanagar Express faced delays of up to five hours as well.
Daily trains also experienced delays due to the weather. Trains like the Haridwar-Amritsar Jan Shatabdi and the New Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express were delayed by about an hour or more.
In light of the changing weather, railway staff have been instructed to remain vigilant to avoid accidents. Trains are expected to run at slower speeds of 20 to 30 km/h because of fog conditions.
