Indian Railways has announced special trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja, connecting Delhi, Patna, and Mumbai, which will pass through Uttar Pradesh. This includes a special Vande Bharat Express between Delhi and Patna.
The special train service will start from October 11 and run until November 15. The Vande Bharat train will depart from New Delhi every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday and will leave Patna every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
Train number 02252 will leave New Delhi at 8:35 PM and stop for two minutes in Aligarh, reaching Kanpur Central at 1:30 AM. After a quick stop, it will continue to Prayagraj, arriving in Patna at 9:30 AM the next morning.
On the return journey, the train from Patna will leave at 10:00 PM and arrive at Kanpur Central at 5:50 AM. It will then depart Kanpur at 5:55 AM and reach New Delhi at 11:30 AM.
Additionally, train number 05033 will run from Barhani to Bandra every Thursday from October 9 to November 27. It will leave Barhani at 9:30 PM and reach Kanpur Central at 5:15 AM the next day, stopping for a brief 10 minutes.
