Recently, an incident occurred on the Vande Bharat Express train running from Tatanagar to Brahmapur. This happened on a Friday, between Chaibasa and Pandrashali stations, where some unknown individuals threw stones at the train.

Due to this stone-pelting, the windows of coach E-1, seats 41 and 42 were damaged. Fortunately, no passengers were injured in this incident, which is a relief.


There have been more such incidents in the past few months, especially on key routes where the new Vande Bharat trains operate. This raises concerns about the safety of passengers traveling on these modern trains.

Previously, there have been reports of stone-pelting on Vande Bharat trains, resulting in broken windows, but thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. This pattern of behavior is alarming for railway officials.


Following this latest event, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the Government Railway Police (GRP) arrived at the scene and began their investigation. Railway authorities have stated that strict action will be taken against the culprits to ensure the safety of passengers.
