This article talks about the new Vande Bharat train service starting soon between Bikaner and Delhi, along with its trial results and expected benefits for passengers.
A new Vande Bharat train is set to run soon between Bikaner and Delhi. The good news is that the trial run has already been completed successfully. The trial took place on a Friday, where the train left Bikaner at 9:18 AM and reached Ratan Garh by 10:52 AM.
This journey took only 1 hour and 34 minutes, which is much faster compared to existing services. For example, the Bikaner-Duronto train takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, while the Bikaner-Delhi Express takes around 1 hour and 55 minutes.
Passengers living in Bikaner and nearby areas will finally get a quicker train service, which has been a long-standing demand. The new train will also offer better catering facilities and will have fewer stops between Bikaner and Delhi, making it easier for people to complete their work in Delhi and return home on the same day.
Officials believe that once this train starts running regularly, the travel time from Bikaner to Delhi could drop to less than 6 hours. However, improving the train’s speed alone isn’t enough; upgrades to tracks, signaling systems, and electrical infrastructure are also necessary.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Rajasthan from September 19 to 21, where he may launch this new Vande Bharat train along with others. Currently, passengers can travel from Bikaner to Delhi using four regular train services, with the earliest departing at 9:25 AM.
Summary:
- A new Vande Bharat train will soon connect Bikaner and Delhi.
- The trial run was successful, completing the journey in 1 hour 34 minutes.
- This service will provide faster travel with fewer stops.
