The company plans to work with global tech leaders like Skoda and Air International to bring advanced products to India. Goel mentioned that the government’s push for better rail infrastructure and passenger comfort makes it a good time for Tata AutoComp to diversify into railways.

As part of this move, Tata AutoComp is already supplying components for the new Vande Bharat trains. They will also showcase their products, including HVAC systems and seating, at the International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) happening from October 15-17 at Bharat Mandapam.

The partnerships with international companies aim to adapt and produce advanced railway technologies at lower costs in India. This will help Tata AutoComp manufacture key railway components right here in the country.

With their current focus, Tata AutoComp is set to play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and comfort of Indian Railways. Their collaboration and local manufacturing efforts are expected to support the government’s vision for modern rail travel.
