The young victims, aged between 14 to 18 years, were near Chandpur Bhangha, close to Janakinagar Nagar Panchayat. They worked at a nearby makhana factory and were heading home when the accident happened.
Due to low visibility in the early morning, they did not notice the approaching train. The incident occurred around 4 AM near the Kasba railway station. One of the deceased was found with snacks in a plastic bag from the fair.
Railway officials and local police quickly reached the scene. The two injured youths are currently in critical condition at the hospital, receiving urgent medical care.
