Vande Bharat Express Arrives at Raebareli with Cracked Windows, Officials Launch Investigation into Safety Concerns

A train from Gorakhpur to Prayagraj arrived with broken windows, raising safety concerns.



A Vande Bharat Express train traveling from Gorakhpur to Prayagraj reached Rae Bareli station on Tuesday at 11:33 AM. It arrived at platform number three because a goods train was blocking platform two, where it usually stops.

Passengers noticed that two of the train’s coaches had broken windows. The glass on these coaches, numbered IR 235091 and 235093, had cracks, and tape was used as a temporary safety measure. This situation surprised many travelers, as Vande Bharat Express is known for its modern amenities.


After the reports of the broken glass, officials were informed about the issue. Travelers expressed their worries and urged quick action to ensure safety and comfort while traveling by train. They also requested that the train undergo a technical check.

The Vande Bharat Express is considered one of the fastest and most advanced trains in India. Officials from the Railway Protection Force in Lucknow, including Senior Division Security Commissioner Devansh Shukla, stated that an investigation into the cause of the broken glass is ongoing.


Authorities will determine if the glass was damaged due to stone-pelting or other reasons. The findings from the investigation will guide any further actions needed to improve safety for passengers.
