The Vande Bharat Express train between Danapur and Jogbani will start on September 15, 2023, enhancing travel options for passengers.



Good news for travelers! The Vande Bharat Express train service between Danapur and Jogbani is set to begin on September 15, 2023. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch this service with a flag-off event.

This semi high-speed train will make the journey from Danapur to Jogbani in just eight hours. It will stop at important stations like Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Samastipur, making it convenient for passengers traveling in the region.


The train will have 16 coaches and will leave Jogbani in the morning, reaching Danapur by noon. On the return trip, it will leave Danapur in the evening and arrive back in Jogbani at night. This service will be especially useful for people traveling to and from the Seemanchal area and the Nepal border.

The railway officials are preparing for the launch and will soon announce the exact timings and fare details after conducting trial runs. On the same day, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Purnea Airport.


In addition, for students appearing for the preliminary qualification exams, special trains will run from Chapra to Prayagraj Rambagh from September 5 to 7. This is to help candidates reach their exam centers comfortably.
