The Railway Board has approved a new Vande Bharat Express train that will run between Varanasi and Khajuraho. This train is expected to start operations soon, connecting important religious and tourist sites more efficiently.

This semi-high-speed train will operate six days a week, with Wednesday being the only day it won’t run. It will provide a quick and modern way for passengers to travel between these two popular destinations.


The train from Varanasi will leave at 5:25 AM and reach Khajuraho by 1:10 PM, while the return journey will start at 3:20 PM from Khajuraho. The train will make brief stops at several stations along the way, including Prayagraj, where it will halt for five minutes.

Vande Bharat Express will stop for two minutes at most stations, making it a fast option for travelers. The train will serve to ease passenger pressure at the busy Prayagraj Junction by offering a stop at the less congested Chivki Station.


This new service will enhance the travel experience for tourists and pilgrims visiting important sites like Varanasi and Khajuraho. The exact start date for the train service will be announced soon.
