Vikramshila-Kataria Rail Project: New bridge over Ganga to link Kosi and Seemanchal regions
The Vikramshila-Kataria new rail line project is moving forward with the goal of strengthening the rail network in Eastern Bihar. This project spans 26.23 kilometers and includes the construction of a double rail bridge over the Ganga river. - Total estimated project cost is approximately 2549.17 crore rupees.
- Construction of the main rail bridge will cost around 1153 crore rupees.
- The bridge construction is expected to be completed by 2029.
