The South Coast Railway has announced the introduction of weekly special trains to manage the heavy influx of passengers during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja festivities. These special services will run between Visakhapatnam and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVB) Bengaluru, providing much-needed relief for travelers during the peak holiday season.
Train 08583: Visakhapatnam to SMVB Bengaluru Schedule
For passengers traveling from Visakhapatnam towards Bengaluru, Train Number 08583 has been scheduled. This service will operate every Tuesday, starting from October 6 and continuing through November 24, 2026. The train is set to depart Visakhapatnam at 7:00 PM and is expected to arrive at SMVB Bengaluru at 12:45 PM the following Wednesday.
Train 08584: SMVB Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam Schedule
The return service, Train Number 08584, will cater to those heading back from Bengaluru. This train will depart from SMVB Bengaluru every Wednesday at 3:50 PM. The service will run from October 7 until November 25, 2026, reaching Visakhapatnam at 1:30 PM the next day.
