Railway authorities and commuters were alerted after the man, estimated to be between 60 and 65 years old, was discovered in an unresponsive state on the section of the platform heading towards Delhi. Local Government Railway Police (GRP) officials arrived promptly to investigate the scene.

According to the investigating officer, Head Constable Anita, the police received information about the deceased late Wednesday night. Preliminary findings suggest that the man appeared to be sleeping on the bench before he passed away.
