This article talks about the new Vande Bharat train service between Bikaner and Delhi, including its trial run and expected launch details.
A new Vande Bharat train is set to run between Bikaner and Delhi soon. The good news is that the trial run for this train has already been completed successfully. The train left Bikaner at 9:18 AM and reached Ratangarh by 10:52 AM, covering the distance in just 1 hour and 34 minutes.
This time is much faster compared to other trains on the same route. For instance, the Bikaner-Duranto train takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes, while the Bikaner-Delhi Express takes nearly 1 hour and 55 minutes. On the day of the trial, a safety workshop for railway staff was also held at Ratangarh station.
The new train will provide fast rail service for Bikaner and nearby areas, which is something people have been wanting for a long time. It will also have better catering services and fewer stops between Bikaner and Delhi, making it possible for passengers to complete their work and return home in a day.
Officials believe that once the train is fully operational, the journey from Bikaner to Delhi could take less than 6 hours. However, to achieve this, the railways need to upgrade tracks, signaling systems, and other infrastructure, along with improving facilities at stations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Rajasthan from September 19 to 21, during which he might flag off two Vande Bharat trains and one new train. Currently, trains from Bikaner to Delhi operate at various times, but the exact schedule for the new Vande Bharat train has yet to be confirmed.
Summary:
- New Vande Bharat train trial between Bikaner and Delhi was successful.
- Train covered distance in 1 hour 34 minutes, faster than existing services.
- Improved facilities and fewer stops expected for passengers.
- Officials aim for a journey time of under 6 hours once operational.
- Prime Minister Modi may launch the trains during his Rajasthan visit.
