The Divisional Railway Hospital in Izzatnagar, Bareilly, is getting a major upgrade to its medical facilities. An agreement was signed between the North Eastern Railway and the Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) to bring in advanced medical machinery. This move will help provide better healthcare to railway employees and their families.

What new equipment will be installed at the hospital?
The hospital will receive four pieces of state-of-the-art medical equipment to improve treatment quality. The total investment for these facilities is ₹51,29,066. The specific machines being added are:
- One YAG Laser Machine
- Two OT Tables
- One ABS SD 3 in 1 Bestop Lipo Power PAL Machine with Accessories
Who signed the agreement and what is the impact?
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by ADRM Manoj Kumar and Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. U.S. Nag from the railway side, and Additional General Manager (Finance) Nav Goyal from IRFC. ADRM Manoj Kumar mentioned that these tools will make the treatment process faster and more effective. Dr. U.S. Nag stated that this is a big achievement for the health services available to railway staff and their dependents.
