Railway is planning to upgrade 10 stations to handle the huge crowd of pilgrims. Haridwar station will get two new platforms and a modernized building. Other stations like Yoga Nagari Rishikesh, Motichur, Harrawala, Jwalapur, Raibala, Virbhadra, Ekkar, and Pathri will also be improved. These stations will get better drinking water, clean toilets, and improved ticketing systems.

He also conducted a window trailing inspection from Moradabad to Lucknow to check signals, tracks, and safety at level crossings.
