The Indian Railways also gave the necessary NOC on March 10, 2026, to restart tunnel excavation.
How is the work progressing at Rajendra Nagar Terminal?
TBM machines are working 24/7 to dig tunnels beneath the Rajendra Nagar Terminal. This work is happening directly under operational railway tracks. To keep everything safe, engineers are using Soil Pressure Balancing and Ground Support Systems. This ensures that train services are not disturbed while the metro tunnel is built underground.
