The weather department predicts no significant changes in the weather until Monday. Cloudy skies may persist in some districts, with a possible increase of up to three degrees Celsius in temperature. Despite the cool breeze, the weather is expected to remain dry. People are advised to be cautious with changing weather conditions.

In the last 24 hours, the lowest temperature recorded was 7.8 degrees Celsius in Sabour, Bhagalpur. Other places experiencing a drop in temperature include Valmikinagar, Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Chapra, Patna, Gaya, Dehri, Forbesganj, Agwanpur, Purnia, and Supaul, with significant temperature decrease in the morning and evening.

According to weather scientists, the slow air movement in North India has led to prolonged moisture in the environment, resulting in radiation fog due to rapid nighttime temperature drops. Cold nights, humidity, and calm weather conditions contribute to the formation of dense fog, especially in North and North-Central Bihar.

Summary:

  • Bihar experiences fluctuating temperatures and alerts for dense fog in 12 districts.

  • No major weather changes expected until Monday, with a slight increase in temperature in some areas.

  • Several districts record a drop in temperature, leading to dense fog formation during mornings and evenings.

  • Slow air movement in North India contributes to prolonged moisture and radiation fog formation in Bihar.

  • Residents advised to stay cautious due to changing weather conditions and dense fog formation.
