South East Central Railway (SECR) has announced a special train service between Bilaspur and Cherlapalli to manage the passenger rush during the Holi festival. This special service will operate on specific dates in February 2026 to ensure smooth travel for passengers. The railway administration has planned this to help people traveling home for the festival celebrations comfortably.
Train Schedule and Timings
The special train service will run on February 27 and 28, 2026. Passengers should note the departure and arrival times to plan their journey accordingly.
- Train No. 08263 (Bilaspur to Cherlapalli): This train departs from Bilaspur Junction on February 27, 2026, at 08:15. It is scheduled to arrive at Cherlapalli at 23:50 on the same day.
- Train No. 08264 (Cherlapalli to Bilaspur): The return train leaves Cherlapalli on February 28, 2026, at 05:00. It will reach Bilaspur Junction at 22:30.
Stoppages and Coach Composition
The train will stop at several key stations during its journey. The major halts include Bhatapara, Raipur Junction, Durg Junction, Rajnandgaon, Dongargarh, Gondia Junction, Wadsa, Chanda Fort, Balharshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Mancherial, Ramagundam, and Kazipet Junction.
For the convenience of passengers, the train will carry a total of 18 coaches. The composition is as follows:
