Upon receiving the information, the fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene to begin controlling the fire. Fortunately, all passengers were evacuated safely.
Fire Details and Response
The fire started at 1:02 am on Wednesday while the train was passing through Tudiganj railway station. Railway staff noticed flames emerging from the lower part of the general bogie and immediately alerted the railway control room and fire brigade. The train was subsequently halted at Dumraon station. Fire officer Vinod Kumar stated that the fire ignited between the wheel and axle of the LHB coach and required approximately three hours of effort to bring it under control.
