Holistic Preparations for Holi Festival
The festival of Holi is approaching, and Indian Railways is gearing up to accommodate the increased travel demand. Special train services, including the Vande Bharat Express, will be operational to facilitate travel from Delhi to various cities in Bihar. The Vande Bharat Express will commence regular services from March 8, 2025, while other special trains will start running from March 7, 2025. These trains are designed to connect major cities across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, ensuring a smooth journey for passengers during the festive season.
Train Schedules and Routes
Several special trains have been scheduled to operate during this festive period. The New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special (Train number 02436) will run from March 8 to March 20, 2025, departing from New Delhi at 22:30 and arriving in Patna the same day. In return, Train number 02435 will operate from March 9 to March 21, departing Patna at 05:30 and arriving in New Delhi at 20:10. Additionally, the Delhi-Patna Superfast Festival Special (Train number 04062) will run daily from March 7 to March 17, departing Delhi at 23:55 and reaching Patna at 16:40 the following day, with return services scheduled similarly.

Additional festival special trains include the New Delhi-Bhagalpur Festival Special (Train number 04068), which will run on select dates in March, and the Anand Vihar-Rajgir Superfast Festival Special (Train number 04070), with services on March 7, 11, 14, and 18, 2025.
