For pilgrims planning to visit major Hindu temples in Eastern India, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special tour package. The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train will operate the “Divine East Temple Tour” starting from March 9, 2026. This journey will begin from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station and take passengers on a spiritual journey across Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand.
Route and Key Destinations
The train offers boarding and deboarding facilities at Delhi Safdarjung, Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, and Lucknow. The tour spans 9 nights and 10 days, returning on March 18, 2026. During this period, travelers will visit significant religious sites including Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, Jagannath Temple in Puri, Sun Temple in Konark, and Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga in Deoghar. Other major stops include Kolkata, Gangasagar, Bhubaneswar, and Chilika.
Ticket Prices and Facilities
This deluxe train has a limited capacity of around 150 passengers to ensure a comfortable experience. The package is all-inclusive, covering train fare, AC hotel stays, vegetarian meals, sightseeing transfers in AC vehicles, and travel insurance. Government employees can also avail of the LTC facility for this tour. The pricing structure depends on the class of travel chosen by the passenger.
