Commuters in the National Capital Region can now travel between Delhi and Meerut in less than an hour. The full 82.15 km corridor of the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is now fully operational following its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This service connects Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi directly to Modipuram in Meerut, covering the entire distance in approximately 55 to 58 minutes. The system has already seen a massive response, crossing 100,000 riders on its first full day of operation.
