Booking Rules and Fare Details
Since these are categorized as special festival trains, the ticket prices will be slightly higher than regular trains. Passengers will have to pay special fares which are typically 1.3 times the normal rate. The booking for these trains is now open on the IRCTC website and at reservation counters. Most of these trains have reserved coaches, so you cannot travel without a confirmed ticket. If you are on the waiting list, you can opt for the Vikalp scheme to get a chance for a confirmed berth in alternate trains.
